What to Wear

Dress
the part.

Indian weddings are about color, unapologetically. You don't need Indian clothes to fit in - you just need to show up ready to celebrate.

For her

A colorful dress, saree, lehenga, or kurta set - bright, patterned, or jewel-toned. Flats are a great choice.

For him

A suit, sport coat, or kurta with tailored pants. Comfortable shoes you can move in.

OPTIONAL

Indian attire

Welcome, not required

If you want to wear Indian clothing, we'd love it - but please don't feel any pressure. The goal is to celebrate.

Great starting points

Kurta set, saree, lehenga, or a festive salwar suit. Add a scarf/dupatta or bright accessory if you want an easy upgrade.

Fit & comfort

Prioritize comfort - the day is long. Breathable fabrics and shoes you can stand in will take you far.

SEATTLE

A light layer

Bring a wrap

The venue is by the water. Even if the day is warm, it can cool off in the evening.

Good ideas

Shawl, light jacket, or pashmina. A small umbrella is never a bad call.

Shoes

Choose shoes you can walk and dance in. If you wear heels, consider a block heel.
